The Sun is the hottest thing in the solar system. Mars is smaller then Earth and it's red. Jupiter is made by gas and bigger then all the planets. Have you ever looked at the stars at night and wondered whats up there? Space is a big place with a lot to explore. At the middle of our solar system is the Sun. Around the Sun orbit 8 planets, as well as stars, bits of dust, comet and meteoroids. We live in a spiral galaxy known as milky way. The solar system includes the Sun and all objects that orbit around it due to its gravity. This includes things such as planets, comets, asteroids, meteoroids and moons. The solar system formed a crazy 4.6 billion years ago. Our solar system has 8 planets which orbit the sun. They are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Our solar system consists of 8 planets which all orbit around our home star, the Sun. The solar system is made of the 8 planets that orbit our sun it is also made of asteroids, moons, comets and lots, lots more. The Sun has such powerful gravity it tries to pull planets towards it. Our solar system consists of an average star we call the Sun. The Earth is unlike every other planet in the solar system in a number of different ways. It is the only planet that has atmosphere containing 21 percent .
